Lavender Blue Days in Apple Hill is happening soon!
Dozens of Apple Hill Growers in El Dorado County are holding this event over the span of the last two weekends in June!
Visit the home of the original Lavender Festival: Bluestone Meadow Lavender Farm. Pick your own bouquet and learn how to make a wreath or a wand all while learning everything about the flower from the “Lavender Answer Guy”. Their soaps and lotions will be available alongside some delicious lavender treats, and there’s a Kids Zone that’s specially designed for kids 2-10! There will also be other Apple Hill Growers showing off their lavender goods here, such as Grandpa’s Cellar, Hidden Star Camino, and Silverthorn Meadows, as well as an event sponsor SMUD. Fenton Herriot Vineyards will be holding a “bottle your own” event, as well as wine tasting flights outside on their beautiful property.
Grandpa’s Cellar, although appearing at Bluestone Meadow, will also be serving their classic coffee flight, a lavender flight, lavender blackberry peach crisps (regular and gluten-free), lavender lemonade slushees, lavender caramel apples, and honey lavender cookies at their property!
