Barn quilts are hand-painted public works of art that adorn, and complement , old barns, historic buildings, gardens and elsewhere in El Dorado County. They are welcoming beacons of color and history. There is a story waiting to unfold, or be recounted at each location.

New Barn Quilts installed

You can view two new barn quilts along EDC Farm Trails! The El Dorado County Veterans Memorial Building on Placerville Drive has just installed the Four Flags quilt square. It was donated by our 2015 raffle winner and it is so fitting for the Veterans Memorial Building. The next barn quilt is a Martha Washington pattern placed on the Something MORE Artists Gallery also on Placerville Drive.
