Quilt Trail Project - Gold Trail Grange
Gold Trail Grange 319 US Highway 49, Camino “Star Shadow” The hall, built in 1926 as a community gathering place after the burning of the Sierra Nevada Hotel, is a venue for a wide variety of presentations and forums. Also, outside groups may rent the building, which has hosted everything from exercise classes to memorials and wedding receptions. This quilt block design is thought to date between 1860 and 1890. It was painted by Grange Member, Julie Castro.
